Carrell Blanton Ferris & Associates, PLC is honored to announce that two of our attorneys have been recognized on the 2026 Virginia Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, an honor that highlights their exceptional legal expertise and dedication to excellence.

Jeremy L. Pryor is a Principal in our Richmond office and practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and incapacity related litigation. He focuses his representation on protecting assets from the long-term costs of nursing home care, Medicaid and special needs planning, and guardianships. Jeremy received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from James Madison University and graduated with his J.D. from Regent University School of Law.

Jeremy has been recognized on the Virginia Super Lawyers list from 2022 through 2026 and was previously honored as a Rising Star from 2013 to 2020, reflecting his sustained excellence in Elder Law.

Bennie Wall

Bennie A. Wall joined Carrell Blanton Ferris in 2017 and is a Principal in our Fredericksburg office who focuses his practice on estate planning and estate administration. He enjoys helping clients view estate planning as not just “documents” but as a plan crafted to efficiently pass down not only their wealth, but also their values, their wisdom, and their love. Bennie received his undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University and graduated with his J.D. from the University of Richmond.

Since 2019, Bennie has been consistently selected for inclusion in the Virginia Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list in the field of Estate Planning and Probate.

Super Lawyers, a division of Thomson Reuters, evaluates nominated lawyers on a range of criteria, including peer recognition and 12 key categories. Only the top five percent of attorneys are selected to Super Lawyers and 2.5 percent are selected to the Rising Stars list. To be named to the Rising Stars list, an attorney must be in the top of their field and either under the age of 40 or in practice for less than 10 years.  In Virginia, only 2.5% of attorneys are selected to receive this honor.
