Love your family? Leave a will.

The title to this article may be a bit harsh, but the content is important.  For 35 years I have been helping individuals and couples with estate planning.  It is important to do.  Yes, it costs money to do the planning correctly. But, it is less expensive to die with a Will than without one.  You are doing your spouse and children a disservice if you do not plan for your death.  We are all going to pass away.  No one is guaranteed tomorrow.  Most of us do more planning for a vacation or a long weekend getaway than we do for when we leave this world.  Of course, I am as guilty as anyone.  Now that I have read this article, I have added to my “to do” list – update my Will, Power of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directive that I did 10 or 15 years ago! Find out why its important to revisit and update your estate plans as life changes in this great article.
