Super Lawyer Rising Star

This year, Carrell Blanton Ferris and Associates, PLC has three attorneys who were named to the Virginia Super Lawyer Rising Stars List for 2020.  To be named to the Rising Stars list, an attorney must be in the top of their field and either under the age of 40 or in practice for less than 10 years.  In Virginia, only 2.5% of attorneys are selected to receive this honor.

Trey T. Parker, a Principal, concentrates his practice in the related areas of estate planning, administration and taxation, and family business planning.  He received his Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he was a recipient of the Judge Earl A. Cadmus 1926 Law Memorial Scholarship, served as a Legal Writing Fellow, and was named to the American Inns of Court and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.

This is Trey’s second consecutive year being named to the Rising Stars list in the area of Estate Planning and Probate.

Bennie A. Wall joined Carrell Blanton Ferris in 2017 and focuses his practice on estate administration and estate planning. He enjoys helping clients view estate planning as not just “documents” but as a plan crafted to efficiently pass down not only their wealth, but also their values, their wisdom, and their love. Bennie received his undergraduate degrees from Christopher Newport University and graduated with his J.D. from the University of Richmond

This was also Bennie’s second consecutive year to be named to the Rising Stars list in the area of Estate Planning and Probate.

Jeremy L. Pryor is a Principal with the firm and practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and administration, and estate litigation. He focuses his representation on protecting assets from the long-term costs of nursing home care, Medicaid and special needs planning, Veteran’s Aid and Attendance planning, and guardianships. Jeremy received his J.D. from Regent University School of Law.

This was Jeremy’s eighth year being honored as a Rising Star by the Virginia Super Lawyers in the area of Elder Law.

We offer our most sincere congratulations to all three of our attorneys on the 2020 Rising Stars list!
